Our Focus

Applied’s operations in Europe involve a broad spectrum of capabilities—research, development and engineering, manufacturing, and sales and support services. We also leverage the company’s global infrastructure—including its vast supply chain and broad, deep technical knowledge base—to serve customers effectively and efficiently.

Additionally, Applied Materials supports and actively participates in European and member states research and innovation initiatives such as the Horizon 2020 European research and innovation program, the Electronics Components and Systems for European Leadership (ECSEL) Joint Undertaking and the EUREKA Cluster in the areas of micro- and nanoelectronics enabled systems and applications (PENTA).

Working collaboratively with customers and major European research organizations and universities, our employees are helping make possible innovations that will change the world.
