Employee Engagement


Applied Materials’ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led communities that foster belonging, connection, and engagement across our global workforce.

With 10 ERGs and 35 chapters worldwide, employees and allies come together to support one another, drive a sense of community, and contribute to key business goals like university recruiting and onboarding. ERGs also collaborate across sites to host meaningful events and experiences that enrich our culture and strengthen our community.

Yes, you can apply for multiple job openings, however, you will need to apply to each one separately. We recommend narrowing your choices down to a few jobs that match your skills, experience, and interests. Your résumé can be customized to be job specific.

When filling out an online application, we recommend that you fill this out in English. You can also attach a résumé/CV in a local language used where the position is available.

Yes, you can withdraw your application within your profile.

You will receive an email confirmation upon submitting your application. Your application will be saved into our staffing database.

Fraudulent job postings are on the rise. Scammers may pose as Applied Materials’ recruiters and solicit personal information, including banking account details, social security numbers, personal background facts, or even money for "company" devices. Fraudulent job postings will frequently use keywords such as "work from home," "quick money," or "unlimited earning potential." These posts often have spelling and grammatical errors or the associated contacts are personal email accounts (e.g., @yahoo.com, @gmail.com). To verify recruiters associated with Applied Materials or to address any staffing related concerns please email Careers@amat.com.

No, our recruiters and managers typically contact applicants via phone or email.  Importantly, applicants should know that our recruiters and managers never ask for bank account information as part of the interview process.  

We will reach out to potential candidates either by phone or email using the contact information that was provided in your online application.

How long your job application remains active in our database depends upon local country rules.

There isn't a way to search for telecommuting positions. If telecommuting is allowed, it may be stated within the job description.

For the first-time user, locate the position to which you would like to apply.   Then, click “Apply”.   Doing so brings you to Applied’s careers sign in page.  Under the sign in button, click “Create Account”.  On this page, enter your email address and password to register your account.  Your email address will serve as your username going forward.

No, your username will be your email address.

Click on “Forgot Password” on the sign-in page and an email will be sent to you with a temporary password to reset it.

Logon to your profile, and then navigate to “View Profile” by clicking on the Cloud icon in the upper right corner of the page. From there, you can click on “Update Contact Information” to change your email address.
