Software and Algorithm Developers
Software is a core technology within Applied Materials Israel, with over 500 engineers ranging from Image Processing developers, crunching tens of GBs per second, to Front End developers, responsible for building a modern web based UI for our complex systems, with a high focus on UX and ease of use. From Python developers integrating Deep Learning algorithms and flows into our systems to DevOps / ML Ops engineers enabling full utilization of cloud technologies and services in our development life cycle. Physicist
Being a physicist at Applied means touching all areas of complex physics while developing new and relevant technologies that are unique to our industry. Our physicists develop inspection and metrology systems, collect and analyze data, design statistically valid experiments, perform research and lead advanced designs of modules and methods. Our team comprises over 100 physicists who are best in their field and who are charged with finding solutions to the most complex problems in the field of imaging and metrology. As a multidisciplinary organization, our physicists work side by side with our other R&D teams to innovate, develop ideas from a very early stage and play an important role in shaping them into the next generation of tools.
