Applied Materials Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Marketing, Sundeep Bajikar, recently met with Euractiv to discuss how advancements in semiconductor technology are enabling more energy-efficient AI computing. 

The interview covered several topics including global macroeconomic challenges impacting AI and solutions for dealing with the rising energy demands of global AI adoption. Sundeep also outlined how innovations in materials engineering, new chip and device architectures, and advanced packaging are increasingly critical to driving the industry roadmap for AI and delivering the performance and power efficiency needed for sustainable growth.
