Hari Ponnekanti is Group Vice President of Engineering for the Semiconductor Products Group. He is responsible for delivering end-to-end on product lifecycle from innovation, commercialization, sustaining, through to after-market phases. He leads centers-of -excellence in automation, software, computational modeling and supply-chain technology solutions.

He has almost 35 years of industry experience including the last 30 at Applied Materials holding leadership roles in Chemical Vapor, Physical Vapor and Atomic Layer Deposition technologies. He holds over 65 patents. He was named an Applied Materials Fellow for technical contributions that have been vital to the company’s success.

Mr. Ponnekanti holds a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Houston, Texas.
