Applied Materials India

Applied Materials India has been a key part of the company’s global innovation network for more than two decades. Our teams contribute across R&D, product and software engineering, design, validation, and end‑to‑end product lifecycle development, supporting breakthrough advances in materials engineering and semiconductor technology.

With deep infrastructure investments—including world‑class labs, validation centers, and engineering facilities—India serves as a hub for accelerating innovation at scale. Our India Validation Center (IVC), for example is a major milestone in India’s semiconductor journey. It is India’s first and only 300mm semiconductor R&D facility.

We play a central role in shaping India’s innovation ecosystem through long‑standing partnerships with industry, academia, and government that underline our commitment to advancing India’s semiconductor capabilities.

India is a strategic innovation engine for Applied Materials—driving impact locally and globally.
