Applied Materials India is a strategic partner and an enabler of India's semiconductor, display, and solar manufacturing ecosystems.

We provide the organization with engineering design, cutting-edge innovation in materials science and engineering, and support services through our partner ecosystem in India. We also play a key role in our global Information Technology (IT) infrastructure by offering digital solutions, services and hosting the company's second-largest data center.

Overview

We deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions in product design, engineering services, support and software development to Applied globally. Leveraging these regional competencies in engineering and IT enables faster product development through design, simulation, test, and validation. Our employees in India have an opportunity to work on virtually every new product. The India center is growing rapidly as the center for business intelligence, data management and analytics.

Culture of Inclusion

We are home to the Women's Professional Development Network (WPDN), an Employee Resource Group organized by our women employees. Additionally, we strive to hire from diverse talent streams, including Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and LGBTQ. We have a Culture of Inclusion (COI) council that supports various initiatives to mitigate biases and sensitize employees, enabling an inclusive workplace.

Applied Materials India operates out of Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Pune. Our India headquarters is in International Technology Park Bangalore (ITPB), an icon of India’s IT success story. Located just 18 km from the city center, ITPB catalyzed the growth of Whitefield as a flourishing suburban district in Bangalore.
