Bill McClintock was appointed corporate vice president and general manger of
Dielectric Systems and Chemical Mechanical Planarization Products Business Unit at Applied Materials, Inc. in April 2008, where he is responsible for the productization, commercialization, and business results for two large product lines. He also serves as corporate vice president of Silicon Systems Group Strategy and Marketing.

Mr. McClintock first joined Applied Materials in January 1988 and has held a variety of engineering and technology positions of increasing responsibility, including senior director and later managing director for Business Development, Interconnect Systems and Modules Product Business Group, vice president, Business Management, Copper, Physical Vapor Deposition and Integrated Systems, Thin Films Product Business Group, and corporate vice president, Business Management, Thin Films Product Business Group. While at Applied Materials, his executive leadership skills have strengthened business management functions across the company.

Mr. McClintock holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering technology and holds several patents in both hardware and process technology for semiconductor equipment.
