Applied HCT Squarer High Tension Upgrade Kit
An Upgrade Path to Immediately Increase Productivity
The industry’s current best-practice for ingot squaring uses 300μm diameter structured wire at relatively low tension and table speed. Applied Materials is making available a High Tension upgrade kit that can withstand up to 300N wire tension, enabling higher productivity.
The HCT High Tension upgrade kit can be retrofitted on all Applied HCT Squarer systems. The kit is designed for both slurry and diamond wire (DW) configurations, and for cutting both mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline silicon ingots. This state-of-the-art upgrade enables 1.6 – 2.0x higher throughput on current equipment without compromising yield and footprint.
