Applied Baccini Rotary Line

The Applied Baccini Rotary Line is a proven, cost-effective solution for screen printing crystalline silicon PV cells. The Baccini Rotary line is an in-line integrated back end processing system that addresses the whole metallization process, from screen printing to isolation and sorting.

The Rotary Line handles both mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline silicon wafers down to 180µm in thickness, with wafer sizes from 125mm x 125mm to 156mm x 156mm. Net throughputof the line is 1200 wafers/hour, equivalent to an annual production of 40MW.

Breakage rate is <0.5% for the entire line and uptime is >90%.
