Fine Line Double Print (FLDP) enables cell manufacturers to produce cells with less silver paste, better print quality and higher cell efficiencies than conventional single print cells.
Today's state-of-the-art double printing is with sub-50 micron line widths with manufacturers typically reporting up to 0.2 percent cell efficiency benefit. This efficiency gain, combined with a significant reduction in paste usage, also results in an increase in process yield. By printing the ultra-thin fingers twice, FLDP™ prevents interruptions in finger formation, resulting in tighter efficiency distribution and better quality.
