Applied Materials Announces Cash Dividend

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 13, 2011 - Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAT) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per share payable on the company's common stock.  The dividend is payable on December 14, 2011 to stockholders of record as of November 23, 2011.
