Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Singapore Position Purpose:
The Process Engineering function typically develops new or modified process formulations, defines process or handling equipment requirements and specifications, reviews process techniques and methods applied in the fabrication of integrated circuits. Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specification. Plans projects involving definition and selection of new concepts and approaches in the chemical and physical processes or development of new or improved process in deposition, etching, implant, high temperature processing, etc., wafer fabrication.
This intermediate position develops and executes process engineering projects of difficult scope under general direction. The primary focus of this position is to design, perform, collect data, analyze and compile reports on difficult process engineering experiments; perform hardware characterization on difficult systems; and measure film properties and interpret data.

Scope:
Works under very general direction. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Makes decisions without consulting manager on assigned engineering responsibilities. Complexity:
Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough and practicable. Exercises judgement within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Education and Experience:
Knowledge:
- Knowledge and skills typically acquired by a completed BS in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 5+ years directly related experience; MS in Chemical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent knowledge) and 2+ years directly related experience preferred.
- Preferred previous work experience: process engineering experience in a development or manufacturing environment.
