To support semiconductor manufacturers as they transition to new
technologies, Applied Materials has made a major investment in its
Maydan Technology Center. This facility is designed to further strengthen
product development capabilities and to provide customers with a
facility where they can test, customize and pre-integrate new manufacturing
technologies for their specific device requirements. The facility
gives new depth to Applied Materials’ process integration
capabilities and signifies an ever expanding commitment to meet
the technology needs of our customers.
The Maydan Technology Center is a 166,000 square-foot facility
focused on 300mm development. The center, opened in March 2002,
has 39,000 square feet of Class 1 (ISO Class 3) open cleanroom
space.
