 There are many levels, or classes, of cleanliness for a cleanroom depending on the type of microchip that is being built. Cleanrooms can be Class 1 through 9, and the standards are listed in the ISO 14644 standard. The class numbers refer to the maximum number of particles larger than one-tenth of a micron in one cubic meter of air. |
